West Coast painter working in oil on panel exclusively

A child of the fifties, came of age in the sixties, a darkroom rat and painter. Always on the West Coast, the first exposure to the arts was through a Jim Dine exhibition, soon after Richard Diebenkorn. After trial and tribulation University and a degree in Child Development with an emphasis on Art Education, paid the mortgage teaching Elementary School for ten years and then left to paint full time. Six years ago moved to a thirty acre small farm in Eastern Washington and began to assemble the painting studio Ars Mechana, building panels, paint and painting.
